We (Karen and John Isom) Value Your Team’s Super Work and We Salute/Thank You
2007 – Present
Superintendent Wes Taylor, we feel compelled to take a moment to share and say thanks. My
bride Karen Isom of 24 years, a 1988 Lowndes Vikings graduate,
demanded that we select Lowndes County as our retirement location. I retired from the United
States Army on November 30, 2007, after serving 25 ½ years, and we then honored her
request. Karen was 100% sure the Lowndes County Vikings school system would provide our
children with a quality education. Eight years later, I see this reality for myself. I have been
sharing this fact across America, and we are pleased with the super education our children are
experiencing. Thank you again! Here is the Isom family’s GO VIKINGS story.
