KLSR/KEVU Internship Opportunity Job Title: Social Media / Promotions Intern Location: KLSR/KEVU TV Eugene, OR Stipend: Unpaid Internship Dates of Positions: Flexible Time Commitment: A Scholastic Term Supervisor: Angie Riley: Promotions/Web Director Organization: California Oregon Broadcasting, Inc. Summary of Position: The Social Media / Promotions Intern will assist with Social Media Campaigns, Promotional Campaigns, Video Production, Editing, & Graphic Design for both KLSR TV and KEVU TV. Familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Adobe software (Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, etc…) is a plus. Duties: Assist with promotional contests, remotes, & events Create relevant social media posts on the stations social sites Produce & edit promos Design promotional graphics Copywriting & voiceovers Post Videos, Graphics, & Promotional Material to our Website & Social Sites Benefits: Hands-On experience in a broadcast environment. Involvement in a variety of national and local Promotional Campaigns. College credit. Letters of recommendation provided upon successful completion of the internship. Qualifications: A basic understanding of video production & editing. Experience with Adobe Software preferred (Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere etc...) Must have well-developed organizational skills and a solid attention to detail. Must be familiar with social media sites Good written and verbal skills. Must provide own transportation.
