To be qualified to play in the various tournaments there is a games played criteria (of SJRU competition) that each player must meet, unless otherwise given dispensation from the ruling body. • NSWJRU State Championships (U11’s to U17’s) o Players must have played / signed on for a minimum of FOUR separate competition rounds prior to the State Championships weekend. (ie rounds 1 to 7). • NSWJRU U10’s Representative Gala Day o Players must have played / signed on for a minimum of FOUR separate competition rounds prior to the State Championships weekend. (ie rounds 1 to 9). • SJRU Regional Tournament (U14’s to U16’s) o Players must have played / signed on for a minimum of ONE competition round between the State Championships weekend and the Regionals. (ie rounds 8 or 9). o Players must have been selected and available for the schedule dates. • Sydney vs Country (U14’s to U16’s) o Players must have played / signed on for a minimum of TWO competition round between the State Championships weekend and the Sydney vs Country game. (ie rounds 8 to 11). o Players must have been selected and available for the schedule dates • Sydney vs Country (U17’s to U18’s) o Players must have played / signed on for a minimum of ONE competition round between the State Championships weekend and the Sydney vs Country game. (ie rounds 8 to 9). o Players must have been selected and available for the schedule dates • NSW Invitational (U16’s) o Players must have played / signed on for a minimum of THREE competition round between the State Championships weekend and the NSW Invitational. SJRU 2015 Representative Program 13 On Aug 2nd there is a fourth fixture against another UK touring side – Leeds Grammar where we will play their 2nd XV. They may also play NSW Country again in a 3-way on this date. Waratahs talents scouts have confirmed they will attend all these fixtures, with an eye towards the Waratahs Academy. This game will be on THURSDAY 18th June at 5.00pm at Boronia Park, Hunters Hill. The Barbarians will have a slightly lower cost as they will play in their district shorts and socks. Costs (per player) are Zone $150 Barbarians $120 Sydney Teams (U14. U17, U18) Each player selected in a Sydney team will have a player contribution levy which will cover the cost of the gear that they are given (Playing Jersey, shorts, socks, training jersey, SJRU Polo & Hoodie). Costs (per player) are Sydney $175 Sydney Teams (U15, U16) Each player selected in a Sydney team (U15 and U16) will have a player contribution levy which will cover the cost of the gear that they are given (Playing Jersey, shorts, socks, SJRU Polo). They will already have received the Hoodie and training top at the regionals. Costs (per player) are Sydney $100 NSWJRU Teams (U15) Each player selected in NSWJRU U15’s team will have a player contribution levy which will cover the cost of the gear that they are given (Playing Jersey, shorts, socks, NSWJRU Polo).
