We invite you to attend a one day symposium and a book launch sharing current
perspectives and research on Australian native grasslands

PRESENTATIONS INCLUDE:
 Plenary talk from Assoc Prof Mark Hovenden (UTAS)
 Outcomes of social and ecological research work conducted by ARCUE as part of the
project: Australian Native Grasslands: Guiding Landscapes and Communities
in Transition.
 Presentations from a range of speakers, including: John Morgan (La Trobe
University), Kathryn Wells (K2C), Georgia Garrard (RMIT), Paul Gibson-Roy (GA), Reg
Abrahams (Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operative), Dave Kendal (ARCUE), Adrian
Marshall (University of Melbourne) and more.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided.

LOCATION
Mueller Hall is in the National Herbarium of Victoria building - on the corner of Birdwood Avenue and Dallas
Brooks Drive, F Gate, Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne, approximately 2km from the city centre and a
short tram ride from Flinders Station. Street metered car parking (up to four hours) is usually available close
to entry gates.
