The 9th Alzheimer’s + Parkinson’s Disease (A+PD) Symposium
will be held in 2015 at the Queensland Brain Institute (QBI),
The University of Queensland
Organized by Professor Jürgen Götz (QBI) and Professor Lars Ittner (UNSW),
alternating on an annual basis between QBI (2013) and UNSW (2014)
As in previous years, the focus of the 2015 A+PD Symposium will be on neurodegeneration
in a very broad sense. This two-day event has in previous years consistently drawn more than
160 attendees. Thursday and Friday mornings program will have key note lectures and 20
minute talks. Friday afternoons program will commence with a keynote lecture, will include
e-poster talks and two consecutive workshops, one theme will be mouse model versus human
iPSCs and the symposium will conclude with a faster road to clinical translation workshop.
There will be no cost to attend. Final program and registration details will be available in January, 2015.
