Concert Dates!
Our concert dates have now been confirmed for 2015. Please ensure these
dates are put in your diary as it is imperative we have all students at all rehearsals and concerts. Knox parents and students will notice we are only
having 1 theatre rehearsal.

Studio Rehearsal - TBC
Fees
Term 2 Fees are due by Saturday 25th April. Overdue fees will attract a
weekly 5% administration fees, if you are having trouble paying, please email
to arrange a payment plan and to avoid unnecessary fee loading. Please note
that multiple classes are encouraged and are substantially discounted.
Please place fees in box provided in foyer, a receipt will be issued via email.
All invoices are sent via email so please ensure KADS has the correct email
address for you and advise if you prefer a hard copy of your invoice.

Cabaret
Every second year KADS holds a Cabaret. This event is a sit down
dinner and show performed by KADS Senior and Advanced students. It is always a fun night and we would love to have as many
people come along as possible! There are tables of 10 if you would
like to get a whole group together!
When - Saturday 20th June
Where- Karralyka Function Centre, Mines rd Ringwood
What- 3 course meal plus soft drink and a SHOW!!
Cost- $75
There is a cash bar, drinks at bar prices. Tickets go on sale Monday
4th May!!

KADS Uniform is now available for purchase. We have some items
in stock but others need to be ordered. Please contact Miss Amber,
[email protected] for an order form.
Information Booklet
Each student will receive a handbook at the beginning of Term 2. This handbook contains information
on classes, uniform, shoes, concerts, costumes and more. Please take the time to read through the handbook as some things may have changed.
HEAT POLICY
One of the major changes in 2015 is our new heat policy. Our summers are getting hotter and with only
having air con in studio 2 we need to be mindful of the health of our students if they are supposed to be
in studio 1 with no air con.
Classes will be cancelled if temperature exceeds 40 degrees, no refund will be due. Advice will be issued by
1pm on the day via text message and email – a note will be placed on the studio door.

This terms spotlight is on Ellie Smale!
Ellie started at KADS when she was just 4years old! She
furthered her training at Patrick Studios Australia after
finishing high school. Ellie has
worked on Norwegian Cruise Lines
on both the Gem and Pearl. She is
currently touring in Germany with
Udi Lindenberg Rock Band! We are
so proud of Ellie and love that she
returns to KADS when she is home!
Classes for Term 2
If you are looking at taking up extra classes in Term 2 please contact Miss Amber who can advise
which classes are available to you.
We are very excited to be offering a Junior Package at Knox this year which consists of 9 classes!
Jazz, Tap, Hip hop, Ballet, Lyrical, Stretch and Technique, Song and Dance, Acro and Cheerleading.
We already have 5 students enrolled in the Junior Package classes and we look forward to having
many more join them. These students are going to be extremely busy come concert time!
Teachers
We are so happy that Miss Shea is living her dream but sad to lose her as a teacher at KADS. We
are so very lucky to have Miss Jasmin and Miss Jess joining the teaching staff for Term 2!
