This is a new personal and school record. She is now ranked #1 in WA State for all ages and classifications and 9th in the entire nation! Fairy Tale Courtroom play will be presented on Thursday, Friday and Saturday @ 6pm with a matinee @ 2pm on Saturday. There will be a preview on Thursday, 10:40-11am Middle School and 1:10-1:30 High School. HIGH SCHOOL NEWS: The Grandmother’s Tea is Friday. Do not park in gym parking lot. The Blood Drive is Friday, the 15h! In order to make your donation successful, drink plenty of fluids in order to replenish those lost during the donation. Please excuse Cispus Counselors during 5th period on Friday, 5/8. They will be meeting with their groups from 1 – 2 in the following classrooms: Wolves and Holly Korpinen’s group in Annex 204 with Mrs. Wells, Cougars and Boaz Koski and Emily Lozier/Maddy Gallaher’s groups will meet in Annex 205 with Mr. Woodruff, Bears and Levi Orem and Spencer Richardson’s groups will meet in the elementary building room 106 with Mrs. Edgecomb. Cowlitz County Public Works is accepting applications for Summer Help. Applicant must be 18 yrs or older. We are accepting volunteers for the following local May events. Each year, our local fire dept, sponsors at Kress Lake Safety Day for families and children. Our local fire dept is looking for student volunteers to help out at the annual Kress Lake Safety Day on Saturday, May 23. Interested students should contact Jim Walton at 957-0870 to sign up. The Kelso STOP Coalition and The Daily News are inviting Middle School and High School students to enter our essay contest, “Through My Eyes”. The contest will run May 15 through May 31, 2015. All entries must be postmarked no later than May 31st. For more details, talk with your English teacher. Need a Job? Goodwill is hosting a Youth Job Fair on May 28 from 10-8 at the Longview YMCA.
