EPJ High School Announcements
1. Congratulations the Prom Royalty: Katherine Giorgio, Amber Hanson, Denielle Minor, Miranda
Stabe, Lukas Forsling, Conner Pedersen, Abel Sanchez & Bryce Taylor.
2. Congratulations to the 2015-2016 student body offers: President: Sammi McInerney; Vice
President: Dylan Colt; Secretary: Emily Peirce; Treasurer: Justin Broekemeier.
3. Congratulations to the cast and crew of “Once Upon High School” for a very entertaining and well
performed play.
4. Congratulations to the Boys Medley Relay team for their 1st place finish at the Sioux City Relays
this weekend. Team members are Alex Wu, John Schuh, Cody Davis and Hunter Paulsen.
5. Thank you to all of those who volunteered at the EPJ Youth track meet on Friday.
6. Good luck today to the Girls Golf team as they travel to Hartford today.
7. Any boy currently in grades 8th-11th that is interested in playing football next fall will meet in Mr.
Clercx's room on Friday, April 24 immediately after school.
8. Tuesday, April 21st -- All juniors and seniors will vote for prom royalty during homeroom. Please
bring your lap tops. Juniors report to Mrs. Norris' room, Seniors please report to Mrs. Stabe's room.
9. Please help EPJ continue the tradition of showing the residents at the assisted living facility in Elk
Point (Wel-Cove) your prom dresses and tuxedos. Please plan on meeting at Wel-Cove at 4:00
pm Saturday afternoon before Prom (4/25). It will only take about 15 minutes. ALL are
welcome….with or without your dates.
10. Peterman Photography will be taking couple and class photos at the school before the Grand
March. (Picture Packets were handed out or see the attachment)
11. Country Inn & Suites in Dakota Dunes is looking for summer help, please see the office for more
information.
12. Reminder to students judging middle school speeches--The speeches begin today! Please check
your email for the schedule sent out by Miss Ahmann. Thank you for helping with this event.
13. Auditions for the 2015-2016 Momentum Show Choir will be May 5th. For more information, talk to
Mrs. Schmeling, join the 2015 Show Choir Auditions MyBigCampus group or talk to a current show
choir member! There are also flyers in the hallways. (see attachment)
14. The 7th annual Books for Budding Brains Book Drive is being held this month. Please send any
gently used books to the HS office.

 Please check your Meal Time balances to make sure your accounts are current.
 Prom is Saturday, April 25th
 Senior Awards Night is Monday, April 27th @7pm
 Jr. K & K students last day is May 12th / Last day of school for Seniors is May 14th / / Last day for 1st11th Grade - Friday, May 15th Dismissal at 12:45pm
 The Annual Booster Club Salt Drive will be held in August of 2015
EPJ Middle School Announcements
1. The 7th annual Books for Budding Brains Book Drive is being held this month. Please send any
gently used books to the HS office.
2. Students: Be reminded that phones are to be turned off and stored in your locker during the school
day. Having your phone on your person and turned off or on silent is not in compliance with this
policy and could result in you being issued a detention. Be advised.
3. Congratulations to Emma Prouty and Alex Junck for being chosen as citizens of the week. Go to
the head of the lunch line and see Mrs. Langle for your prize
4. Power Point meeting is Friday, April 24th at 7:50 A.M. in Mrs. Langle’s room. Bring song ideas with
you that day, so we can finalize our music selections.
5. Middle School will be taking Smarter Balanced tests this week. Get a good night’s sleep and do
your best. Make sure you have your headphones.
6. Reminder: Return your field trip permission slip and $3.00 to your homeroom teacher.
