Sheng Shilin Big Sausage ‫ࢶ̂ڒ̀੃چ‬བ
The original Shilin Big Sausage Shop is now
on its third generation of proprietors.
Its sausages, which are stuffed
daily, have a 3:7 fat-to-lean
ratio and their smooth,
juicy taste plus the
aroma that wafts from
their charcoal grill
get the saliva glands
flowing. Another of
the shop s signature

grilling a sticky-rice sausage,
slicing it open, adding sausage meat,
and pouring on a special sauce. Other items available here are
Chaoyang grilled chicken, named for Grandpa Tsai, who developed
the big sausage, along with other barbecued meat items.
