Directions from Sydney to Kangaroo Valley Please use directions in conjunction with map 1. Depart from Sydney on the M5 (Hume Highway to Canberra). 2. Continue along the Hume Highway, pass Picton then exit on the Bowral / Mittagong Exit. 3. Follow the road through the town of Bowral and at the 4th roundabout veer left into Kangaloon Road. The sigh will indicate directions to Nowra. (Route 80). 4. Follow the road past the racecourse on your right hand side. Continue along this road (Route 80) until you get to a stop sigh. Cross the Illawarra Highway and head straight towards Fitzroy falls and Nowra (Still Route 80). 5. After travelling a further 5 minutes you will reach a “T” Junction on Nowra Road. Turn left towards Nowra and Fitzroy Falls. 6. Pass straight through Fitzroy falls and drive down the escarpment into Kangaroo Valley. 7. You will reach an historic single lane bridge, called Hampden Bridge. 8. After crossing the bridge drive 800m and then turn right into Mount Scanzi Road. 9. Drive along mount Scanzi road for 8.3km (this will change to Tallowa Dam Road), passing the golf course on your left hand side. Then look out for our sign (Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat) and turn right into Radiata Road. 10. Drive on for 500m and the property entrance is to your left. Travel time from Sydney is approximately 2- 2.5 hours depending on traffic
