Smith, Ph.D. Thursday, May 14; 8:45-10:15 a.m. As auxiliary services leaders, our ability to get things done through others often depends on our ability to create a vision and engage others in our mission. This interactive session will introduce us to the core components of personal leadership and assist us in developing an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses we have for leadership and change. In the years before his retirement as president of Slippery Rock University, Dr. Smith led the university through rapid changes that earned the university various awards and national distinctions. Dr. Smith has received three teaching awards and has presented at dozens of prestigious executive leadership development programs. Ricoh Annual KASA Golf Outing Wednesday, May 13, noon – 5 p.m. Devou Park Golf Course, located in Covington, Ky., is one of the area’s premier public golf courses. The course will take you through rolling hills and offers scenic views of downtown Covington and Cincinnati. $35 per person; reservation required. Transportation is not included to the course.
