DESCRIPTION
“Is there a Rule on that?” We’ve all been in the situation where we know what we want,
but are not sure on the procedure to get it done. Also, none of us want to be the
attorney standing in front of a judge, answering a question about why we didn’t abide
by a Rule directly on point. Keep yourself out of this situation by joining the Honorable
Dale Youngs for a refresher and update on the Rules of the Circuit Court of Jackson
County. Judge Youngs will provide practical knowledge to help practitioners navigate
the procedures and rules for success in the courtroom. Judge Youngs will also highlight
changes to the Local Rules, so you can keep your practice up to date. Judge Youngs’
presentation will be followed by a panel discussion by the clerks of the Jackson County
Circuit Court. These clerks will discuss their knowledge of the inner-workings of the
Court, and further provide a path for progress in your cases.
