COURSE DESCRIPTION
Problems is designed to present the latest evidence-based information, published
in the detection and treatment of thyroid disease. Critical areas of need have
dysfunction.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Review the biochemical and clinical evaluation, and treatment of
hyperthyroidism, including review of published guidelines.
•
Review current guidelines describing the evaluation and management of
thyroid nodules and goiter.
•
Present new information regarding thyroid imaging and indications.
•
Describe recent advances in the management of hypocalcemia.
TARGET AUDIENCE
nurses and other healthcare professionals seeking to enhance their understanding of thyroid diseases and treatment options in order to select the optimal
management for their patients.
