It is important to stress to your student that graduation is considered a formal program and all
graduates are expected to complete their senior year in good standing. Your student is
expected to dress appropriately and to exhibit proper behavior that is befitting a
Commencement ceremony. Students who choose to dress inappropriately and not adhere
to graduation behavioral expectations will not be allowed to participate in the
Commencement. With the large number of family and friends attending Commencement, it
is important that the “Class of 2015” be remembered as representing the KNIGHT tradition in
exemplary fashion.
All seniors are expected to adhere to all school rules identified in the Kaneland High School
Code of Conduct throughout the remainder of the school year. Any senior placed under
suspension may forfeit their opportunity to participate in any or all end of year senior
activities including the Graduation ceremony on Sunday, May 31, 2015.
The senior officers are requesting candid high school photos of your graduate, a baby picture
and a senior picture to be used in a slide show presentation during the ceremony and
