Pavilion, Kilcoy Showgrounds
Conditions of Entry: Please read carefully.
1. All Exhibits must be lodged with Chief Steward at Showgrounds on Tuesday 14 April 2015
between 10am and 1pm (or before by arrangement). HOWEVER, Completed entry form and
entry fees must be lodged with Stewards by a week before (ie. 5pm on Tues 7 April) No
late entries, to be fair to everyone.
2. Judging on Wednesday 15 April 2015.
3. Paintings must not have been entered in any previous Kilcoy Show.
4. Pavilion exhibits can be entered in one class only.
5. Limit of three entries per exhibit or per class.
6. Where entries are the original work of exhibitors (unaided, not copied from published photo,
print or other artist’s work) please indicate by stating “original” on entry form.
7. Maximum framed size of entries to be 93cm X 62cm.
8. SIGNATURES ON PAINTINGS MUST BE COVERED at time of delivery and able to be
removed after judging. (suggest blutak with piece of paper/card)
9. All entries to be dry and suitably mounted or framed, with firm wire/cord and able to be hung
effectively.
10. Name, title and class entered to appear on bottom at back of paintings.
11. Previous First Prize winning artists in Novice MUST enter in Amateur or Open, likewise
previous Amateur winners MUST only enter in Open.
12. Exhibitors may sell paintings by commission of 10% to the Show Society. Price tags to be
attached to back of painting by exhibitors so that it can easily be displayed after the judging.
13. Exhibits must be collected from the pavilion after 4.30pm on Saturday. (Only Stewards to
remove work from display) Collection is Exhibitor’s responsibility. The Society does not
undertake to return any entries by post or transport. Please make alternative arrangements.
Entry Fee: $2.00 each.
Prize Money: First: $15.00 (or trophy, where stated). Second: $7.00.
