Cultural Experiences and Cooperation between Hungary and Korea
Despite being located on different continents, Korea and Hungary have a number of cultural
similarities. The two countries also share historic experiences, namely in terms of in diaspora issues of
the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
Based on what Korea and Hungary share in common, we are planning to organize a dialogue entitled
“Korea-Hungary Forum for Cultural Cooperation” to share mutual experiences on diaspora issues
and to boost more active academic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
