Wednesday, May 6, 10 a.m. - Fall Luncheon Committee Meeting will be
held at Knox United Church.
Friday, May 1, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. & Saturday, May 2, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ten Thousand Villages sale will be held at St. Andrew's United Church,
55 King St., Truro. Admission is free. The gifts you buy at the sale will give
the blessings of steady work, fair wages, and a better life for struggling
families around the world. Your purchase makes a difference!
Friday, May 8, 7:30 p.m. – 4 Guitars Concert at Knox! Join us for a
special evening of classical, jazz and Brazilian music with guitarists Sylvie
Proulx, Emily Shaw, Amy Brandon and Joanne Hatfield. These ladies, on a
Nova Scotia concert tour, will present a variety of pieces from delicate
solos to guitar quartets with vocals. Check out facebook @4GuitarsNS for
tour details and artist bios. Adults: $12; students under 18: free. Proceeds
for Knox music programs.
Note: A few copies of Presbytery Notes from the April meeting are
available at the entrance to the church.
Saturday, May 2 – Middle Stewiacke United Church Yard Sale will be held
at the Middle Stewiacke Fire Hall. Donations may be brought to the Fire
Hall on Thursday & Friday evenings (April 30 & May 1).

The Official Board of the Pastoral Charge will be meeting on Tuesday,
April 21st at 7:30 in the hall at Knox United, Brookfield. All committees
please bring reports for that meeting. If anyone has something specific to
add to the agenda, please let Ada know before that date.

Friday, April 24, 7 p.m. – Beetle Drive at Knox Hall.
$2 per person and $5 for a family. There will be light refreshments, and fun
for all. Come and see if you can be the fastest one to draw a beetle. For

Saturday, April 25 – At Knox there will be an all-day training event for the
facilitators of Intermediates at Conference (the program for youth in grades
7-9). If you are able to help provide food or sweets, please sign your name
on the white board by the hall entrance or call Keith at (902) 957-4242.

Ladies’ Night at Knox Church Hall. Dinner and entertainment.
Tuesday, April, 21, 12 noon – “All Around the Circle” Seniors luncheon
and meeting at the Sportsplex.
