Presbyterian Collegiate Ministry
A UKirk Ministry at the University of Oregon, Eugene, Oregon
We are entering a new season for this ministry, which is in its eighty-eight year. While we bring
a history of outreach, we are living into a new way of doing ministry on this campus and in this
community. Through new partnerships, a new building, and our renewed denominational
commitment we are embarking on a new beginning for this ministry. It is our intention to
steward the ministry, begun by our faithful predecessors, into the 21st Century. It is our hope
that this internship will serve the purpose of bringing more energy and gifts to the table. It is our
prayer that an intern who serves here will:
 gain experience in building community;
 grow comfortable articulating and sharing their own faith journey;
 feel supported and encouraged as we serve together;
 use and improve skills in planning, organization and presentation of programs, worship,
service, education, and fellowship opportunities;
 have the chance to try new ideas for ministry in an environment that is open to where the
Spirit leads;
 grow in his/her own faith through service on behalf of the PC (USA).
