Began a series of curriculum development for Sogang university on „The Global Holistic body‟…this would culminate with a summer 2009 six week class on the integration of film, internet, social media, and performance forms in a four to eight faculty led lecture and workshop series. The blog and the series of writings would culminate in the workshop and a publication. (Sogang Workshop on Blogger) $100,000 application for a city of Seoul mayor‟s office request for a grant for scholarships for student study in summer Seoul 2009 on „the global holistic body.‟ Partial funding for this received for the scholarships. Conducted „grant group‟ meeting of the student and faculty grant writing training and application in the fall of 2008. This is a weekly meeting of students and interested persons for the education, use, and the forum for writing specific NGO and research grants for the arts, education and media. Performance media venue „Monkeytown‟ with the signature pieces the letters of Veronica Franco: the letters of a 17 th century Venetian courtesan. Worked with students with their collective media piece and „face as interface‟: a system of computer interface and commands using facial expressions of the actor. at the Began and completed work on the software Mind of Michelangelo‟ for an installation in Florence Italy at FUA. Began proposal for urban visioning alliance…a non for profit group with concerns for zoning, local development and cultural centers with a focus on the interrelationship between the urban milieu and the rural and natural environs. Began and continued the proposal for Appeadia…an iPhone and app-based magazine for culture, events, and features. Second phase of development for the Seoul 2020 exhibition in the Olympic stadium for the Seoul design Olympics. Preparing and designing the spaces for the exhibition with the Sogang contributions of the global holistic body. Treasurer and co-founder of „Global Civic Media, a NYC based global NGO that examines, critiques, and develops educational projects for use and dissemination of various forms of online, business development and social media. Proposal and partial funding ($4,000000 total) for the Seoul city government on a „university of the creative economy‟ or the creative institute. A government and civic center with online and on site curriculum and activities promoting and institution a program for the insertion of creative practices and values within the Korean society. This institute and online curriculum will have a function and important for the „at risk „ population of the Incheon area and it will also serve the worldwide audience in providing an extension curriculum exploring creativity in all aspects of a commercial, artistic, technological, and scientific sphere. Further developments for the Seoul 2020 design Olympics focusing on the ideas of the „singularity‟ and of convergent bandwidth rates of computer and human s in the year 20202. The project will study the livable city and the impact of greater surveillance and regulation practices found through the machine culture within the urban milieu. Building the curriculum and formulating the program for the Jeju College of Healing and Expressive arts in Jeju island South Korea. Combining eastern medicine practices with global telematic delivery in the form of teleconferencing, multiple user interfaces and curriculum, and tangible user interfaces to provide a center of eastern health practices within a university curriculum in literature and discourses, arts and expression, and technology research and development. Received a $15,000 grant from the development of classroom computing for the creation of an immersive environment with a four-projector system and a gyro mouse or Wii set up. Conducted a lecture and grant proposal for Vassar college classics and archeology department on „the full immersion of ancient Athens: a spatial and historical document‟. Created a two wall projection system for the projection of a model of ancient Athens where the narrative spaces of philosophy, history, and drama within ancient Athens urban milieu is graphically rendered as a teaching and Wii device for the full participation of students, classics and archeologist, and academics. This culminated in a proposal for a „white cube‟ structure of Vassar College that would exist as a semi permanent display device of academic, curricular, and cultural spatial information. 2006-2007 Associate Professor NTU, Singapore. Taught at NTU in interactive digital media. Worked on various projects within the funding structure of NTU and the Singapore government. Worked with iCell in Singapore developing public arts and city-wide WIFI integration. Worked on 1mil grant on the interactive apartment for the NTU initiative. Worked on and received a 5 k grant on the “Self and other in the telematic Sphere”. Traveled and lectured at various se Asian countries such as Cambodia, Vietnam, India, Japan Lectured at Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai India. …. Distance collaborations in the telematic world. Conducted yearly study abroad programs in Rome teaching various classes such as interpreting visual culture, sex and politics in Italian cinema, anthropology of another culture, where there were weekly collaborations and public projections on such Roman monuments such as the coliseum, Ponte Roto, and campo di Fiori. Conducted collaborations with various dance groups in Rome. Received a 48k grant Sim NGO: a simulated space and game structure for the instruction of civic culture and grant and fundraising collaborations for globally based NGOs. Contributed to the winning bid put together the RFP with Postco Company for the Incheon expo bid. The total contribution was 150mil. The team contribution was 5m for the performance and interactive media component. Integrated telematic spaces with a hybrid performance of Bacchae at Monkeytown in NYC.
