CERTIFICATION OF RESULTS FOR 2015 RETIRED MEMBER OF THE BOARD
ELECTION AND POSSIBLE BOARD ACTION
Recommendation:
That the Board adopt the proposed Resolution certifying the results from the 2015 Retired Member of
the Board Election for the five-year term beginning July 1, 2015 and ending on June 30, 2020, as
reported by the City Clerk.
Discussion:
Attached is the Summary of Official Tally Results certified by the City Clerk for votes cast in the 2015
Retired Member of the Board Election held on April 10, 2015. Arrangements will be made for the
elected incumbent, Commissioner Michael R. Wilkinson, to be officially sworn in at the Office of the
City Clerk upon the Board’s certification.

CERTIFICATION OF RESULTS
FOR THE ELECTION OF THE
RETIRED MEMBER OF THE
LACERS BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION
FOR THE FIVE-YEAR TERM BEGINNING JULY 1, 2015
AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2020
PROPOSED RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City Charter provides for one representative from among LACERS Retired Members
to be elected to the LACERS Board of Administration for a five-year term;
WHEREAS, the term of incumbent Michael R. Wilkinson expires on June 30, 2015;
WHEREAS, an election was duly conducted and has concluded in certified results prepared by the
City Clerk, for which 75.08% of the votes were cast for Michael R. Wilkinson;
WHEREAS, the Board of Administration is required to certify the results of the election as reported by
the Office of the City Clerk;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board hereby certifies the results of the 2015
Election of the Retired Member to the Board of Administration of the Los Angeles City Employees'
Retirement System for the five-year term beginning July 1, 2015 and ending on June 30, 2020, as
reported by the City Clerk.
