Job Posting Accounts Clerk Community Living Kirkland Lake is a non-profit organization providing services and supports to individuals with an intellectual disability. The organization is searching for an Accounts Clerk who will be part of the administrative support team. The Accounts Clerk will assume responsibility for accounts payable utilizing the AccPac accounting system, HST remittance calculations, reconciliation of vendor accounts, maintaining a purchase order system, all bank deposits, Nevada ticket reporting, audit of supported individuals ledgers and residence cash. The Accounts Clerk will also maintain the personnel files for approximately 90 employees and be able to trouble shoot computer related issues and liaise with the outside IT support. Additionally the accounts clerk will assist with the completion of financial reporting as well as quarterly reporting to our funding agency. The successful applicant will have: Business Administration – Accounting or Business – Accounting diploma; strong computer skills specifically in AccPac and Microsoft Office Suite; minimum two years’ experience in an accounting position; ability to work independently, multi-task and be detail oriented; ability to work in a fast paced environment; excellent oral, written communication and analytical skills clear Vulnerable Section Screening The ability to communicate in French and working in a unionized environment is an asset.
