language-related challenges have led to LANDMECO employing a

an independent advisor in the broiler industry in Poland, and he is
looking forward to helping our customers in Poland.

that 80 percent of all eggs be laid with the pointed end first.
that the hen actually not just lie there and lay eggs. It stands up.
that the chicken inside the egg must be oriented toward the chubby
end, so that it can breathe, before it pierces a hole in the egg (as
the chubby end has many more pores, which the chicken gets oxygen
through).
POLAND:
LANDMECO sets up sales department in Poland
LANDMECOs entry on the Polish market startet for almost a year ago and the development has
subsequently been rapid. The Polish market within broilers is constantly growing, and customers
know what they want, namely quality. This is a very good starting point for LANDMECO.
The growing demand for LANDMECOs products combined with the language-related
challenges have led to LANDMECO employing a Polish Sales Manager, residing in Poland,
namely Tomasz Wróblewski, from 1 April 2015. Tomasz has many years of experience as an

our customers in Poland.
Tomasz Wróblewski went through an extensively intro course at LANDMECO the first week
in April, to learn all about our products, our clients our way of doing business etc. The following week he was back in Poland, ready to meet up with new and existing LANDMECO
clients. On the photos you see Export Manager Alex Dybdal & Sales Manager, Poland, Tomasz Wróblewski visiting LANDMECO customer Gospodarstwo Rolno-Hodowlane, where

SOUTH AFRICA:
GOOD START FOR DYNAMIC AUTOMATION
Mid-april LANDMECO had the opportunity to inform Dynamic Automations customers
about LANDMECOs products during an Open House event held by Dynamic Automation
(LANDMECOs dealer in South Africa). LANDMECO experienced great interest and curiosity
from the attending customers, and the event definitely gave rise to some interesting subsequent customer contacts and quotations.
”It seems that investments in the broiler market in South Africa begins to open up a bit
again, so our timing with Dynamic Automation is absolutely perfect, and we will follow the
market closely in the future,” says Export Manager Alex Dybdal.

SOUTH AFRICA:
LOW FCR RATES CONTINUES...
In LANDMECO NEWS June 2013, we covered Sovereigns Foods’
tests of LANDMECOs pan feeding system up against a competing product, and as you might remember, the results were clear
and convincing: LANDMECOs equipment was far more efficient
and profitable.
The final weight was higher, the average daily growth was higher
and the FCR was lower. Besides these advantages, the LANDMECO pan feeding system requird a much lower level of manual
labour due to the kick-off and easy-clean system. Also, Sovereign Foods’ feed-back on the cleaning process was very positive,
as the LANDMECO pan was reported much quicker and easier
to clean.
And it is the same story we hear from Pieter Buitendag, Metacine
(PTY) Ltd, where one of LANDMECOs recent orders was installed. At this point Pieter Buitendag has finished three cycles in the
two houses with LANDMECO equipment and the FCR values are
really good. The lowest FCR is 1.40 and the highest FCR is 1.50.

SATISFATION
MAKES THE
DIFFERENCE
AT LANDMECO WE ALWAYS STRIVE TO
KEEP OUR CUSTOMERS SATISFIED IN
EVERY ASPECT BECAUSE WE TRULY BELIEVE, THAT ”SATISFACTION IS THE ROAD
FOR SUCCESS”.
AND IT IS ALWAYS GOOD TO BE CONFIRMED BY THE CUSTOMERS, THAT WE ACTUALLY SUCCEED IN THIS. THAT IS WHY
A RE-SALE AT LANDMECO IS A REALLY

AND PROUD TO SAY, THAT WE ACTUALLY
HAVE A LOT OF RE-SALES. A COUPLE OF
THEM ARE MENTIONED HERE.
Anita & Tommy Mäkelä, breeders
Anita & Tommy Mäkelä from Finland has
been LANDMECO customers for almost 20
years.
Anita & Tommy are working with breeders,
and LANDMECO finished the latest project
for them by the end of 2014. The project
included 2 complete breeder houses, with
feeding, drinking and nesting systems and
as you can see from the photos both Anita
& Tommy as well as their birds are happy
LANDMECO customers.
Ronald Rokkedal, broilers
Ronald Rokkedahl has also been a LANDMECO
customer for many years. Last year we supplied
feeding, drinking and heating system for his 2 brand new broiler houses,
and during next month LANDMECO will supply equipment for another 2
new broiler houses.
Månsson, Layers
Has been a LANDMECO client since 1981.
Our latest project with Månsson was in 2013,
where we installed our Combo system for 30,000 organic birds in a new house
(see article in NEWS March 2013). Earlier LANDMECO Combo projects are:
2011: 30,000 hens. 2010: 21,000 hens. 2005: 9,000 hens.
All in all Ronald Rokkedahl now has 14 houses with LANDMECOs equipment installed, with a yearly production of 4-5 mio. broilers.
In a few month we will once again install our Combo system in Månssons
newly build house. This system also has a capacity of 30,000 organic hens.
