Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word
of God is living and powerful, and
sharper than any two-edged sword,
piercing even to the division of soul
and sprit, and of joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and
intents of the heart.”
In other words, God’s Word is
fundamental to deepening faith. No
believer can do without it. So thank
you for helping to give a Bible to each
person who wants to know the Truth,
to grow deeper in their relationship
with Jesus Christ, and to share with

What does Satan look
like? Unlike the images
we commonly see of a
creature with red horns and
a pitchfork, the Bible says,
“For Satan himself transforms
himself into an angel of light”
(2 Cor. 11:14 NKJV). Satan is
always working at deceiving
people, making them think
he is good when he is pure
evil. And making them
think God is evil when He is
nothing but good!
Ephesians 4:27 says, “Do
not give the devil a foothold”
(NIV). We are to give no
honor to him, no praise to
him, and have no fear of him.
Instead, we are to trust in
Jesus whom even the demons
feared. Jesus has defeated
Satan on the cross and is the
only One worthy of all honor
and praise!

Dear Friend,
Did you know that when Jesus prayed for His
disciples, He also prayed for you and me? He prayed in John
17:20-21, “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those
who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may
be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You” (NKJV).
Just as Jesus prayed for us, so we too need to keep on praying for each other and
the ongoing work of the Gospel in our world today.
That’s why in this newsletter, we’re encouraging you to give thanks for those who
have received Bibles through your generosity. We’re also celebrating the great work being
done through our 24-hour Prayerline. And we’re encouraging you to request Demons: The
Answer Book—a resource my father wrote about the power of prayer to defeat the schemes
of Satan.
Jesus had unimaginable power, and yet He prayed! How much more should we
also bring all our needs and requests to God. And when we do, we’ll start to see change—
in our lives, in our relationships, and in the world around us.
