Sara Young, (2014), author of Jesus Calling, is a collection of daily inspirational mesA child on the ground crying, knees, and hands hurting. Unexpectedly there are two hands helping the child to stand, brushing
dirt off knees, clothes, and extending two arms to comfort. The
comforting arms immediately known to belong to child’s mother.
In our formative and adult years things that go astray we turn to
sages . One of her messages focuses on security. According to Young (2014) security cannot be found in this world and mental checklist are made of things to be accomplished to
control self. If it is possible to eliminate the list there would be leisure and tranquility. However, aggravation turn out to be a by-product of efforts made to retire items on the checklist. Young (2014) reports there is a better way to gain security versus an inventory—focus
on Jesus. He will help sorting out what is important and what is not essential. Do not be
the comfort of a mother’s arms. Whether mother is in the form of
anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your
grandmother, aunt, cousin, older sister , or family friend there is no
requests to God. —Philippians 4:6.
