If you only meet one or two of the requirements you will not be considered for the award.  For scholarships that mention an applicant must be a member of a ‘minority’ group, these usually include: Black/African-American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian, and Native American.  Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to complete scholarship applications. While there are some that only require a short submission, for others you may need to have transcripts, references, resume or write an essay. It is best to have the required materials ready before starting the application.  If the application indicates that you should have a ‘career interest,’ it does not have to be an area that is your major, but should be something you are seriously considering pursuing as a career.
