MPISCC strives to provide its members with the best in educational opportunities. In keeping with that
tradition, the Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships to be used within 12
months of being awarded.
These scholarships represent endless possibilities for you to further your professional career. Scholarship
funds up to $1,500 can be used for the following educational pursuits: MPI WEC, programs sponsored by MPI,
MPISCC, or other MPI Chapters, allied meeting industry organizations, or university approved courses in
meeting management. They do not include regular monthly meetings. Moreover, you may apply your
scholarship funds towards fees and expenses associated with the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or the
Certified Meeting Manager (CMM) designation.
To qualify for a Gary J. Rosenberg, CMP Scholarship you must:

Be a member of the meetings industry for at least one full year.
Be a member of MPI and the Southern California Chapter, in good standing for at least one (1) year;
Attend at least six (6) MPISCC Chapter Educational Programs in the last 18 months;
Actively participate in one (1) or more MPISCC Chapter Committees as defined by that Committee
Chairperson/Board of Director.
Scholarships funds may not be awarded to the same individual more than once in three years or twice in a
lifetime.
Submit the enclosed scholarship application, including a letter indicating the amount of funding requested,
why you are submitting this application, and for what purpose you will use the scholarship funds.
Submit a professional resume and one letter of recommendation.
Agree to submit proof of attendance and a brief review of the educational experience to promote the
scholarship program.
Submit the completed application form by April 15, 2015. EXTENDED TO MAY 15, 2015
