Exciting news! We have a local celebrity opening this
year’s summer fair at 11.00am. He is Chris Skinner, from
Smooth Radio. Chris presents the Smooth Sanctuary
from 7.00pm – 10.00pm each weekday evening. Have a
listen!

PTA Fund Raising Quiz Night on 29 April
Unfortunately this event was cancelled due to lack
of support.
This was such a shame, but a quiz is prepared
should we wish to hold this at a later date. We
had also planned to hold a Race Night, but we
have put this on hold until possibly September. If
there is any event that you would like see us put
on, please let us know and we will try to oblige.
Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers for Schools
Please keep collecting the Sainsbury’s Active Kids
vouchers and sending them in!
Second Hand School Uniform Shop
We are having a second hand school uniform stall
at the summer fair and if you would like to donate
any outgrown school uniform (in good condition)
to the school. This will be laundered, pressed and
put in the sale, and any proceeds will go to the
good of the school via the PTA. If we get enough,
we will open a monthly shop.
Maypole donation
Huge thanks to Monster kids, who provide
childrens’ disco and entertainment parties, who
have purchased a maypole for the school. We look
forward to seeing a dancing demonstration at the
summer fair!
Bags2School Collection Reminder
Thank you for supporting the Bags2School
collection. We will let you know how much money
was raised as soon as we are able.

Date for your diary – Summer Fair – 6 June 2015
We have some exciting events for the fair this year.
Does your child have a particular talent? We are holding
a “Lime Walk has Talent Competition”. If your child
wishes to enter, either individually or with another child,
please let Vicky Hewitt know, and what particular talent
your child will be performing (singing, dancing, playing
an instrument etc). If all goes well the final will be held
during the summer fair!
