There will be many informative sessions that we attend while we are there. We will be bringing back new information to pass on to our great Moose Lodge in Dunnellon. LOOM Chuck McDowell Carl (JJ) Kotechi Larry Wynne (Preacher) WOTM Pat Parrish Administrator’s Message Carol Finley Home from Rehab on hip We are doing great with our pool games ( all our open pool games are free). Our darts, our queen of hearts, our entertainment and our kitchen are doing well. Our kitchen has many different meals and snacks being offered. We are trying to get a shuffleboard league started and if you are interested, we have a sign up sheet posted in the lodge. Brothers and Coworkers, And another year has passed! It has been a very good year for the Dunnellon Lodge. Membership has grown, new faces abound and there have been many improvements made – some subtle behind the scenes to improve efficiency and lower cost and some more overt, such as the open pool tables and shuffleboard. These achievements have been accomplishments that were made possible by a most energetic and forward thinking Board of Officers. Please take the time to give them a pat on the back and a ‘Thank You’ for all they have done and the time they have invested this past year. All members of the Dunnellon Lodge should be proud of the community service provided again this year – another Thanksgiving dinner, The Angel Tree for over 120 children, over ten thousand dollars in contributions to Mooseheart, Moosehaven and local organizations in and around Dunnellon. Your Lodge Moose Legion again led the way for community service in Cypress 202 – Kudos to John Condray on his successful year. But as this year ends and a new one begins, the Lodge is in need of members to step up, donate a few hours a month, and continue the growth and improvement by volunteering to serve on the Board of Officers! Nominations are now being accepted and the election of the new board is in March. Be a part of the solution – if you can’t serve on the board, volunteer to spend a few hours in necessary activities such as painting, repairs, and Chairs for activities. Remember it is your Lodge. Thank you to all the members that provided assistance this year with dinners and events. I wish to give a personal and public ‘Thank You’ to Brother Roy Marler, as Junior Governor, for his outstanding leadership during the year and to John Lawrence for his participation in the Chamber of Commerce. Gentlemen without you the successes would not have been attained. As I leave office – my heartfelt thanks to all the members for the faith and trust you placed in me, but more importantly for the fantastic support you have provided this year. Please continue that support and involvement as the new board takes office and make 2015-2016 even better. Fraternally, Jim We have been blessed with a great, dedicated board of officers this year and we are nominating a group of officers for the coming year who will also do a great job with new ideas and suggestions for next year. Fraternally Yours , Art Hart, Administrator Moose Legion Report I would like to thank everyone who helped and participated in the fund raising for Special Olympics.
