Meeting 10:00 am Message From the Governor—Ken “Elmo” Elming, Happy Hour Monday—Friday 1:00—4:00 PM October is over and we well be seeing most of our snowbirds arriving. With that Weekly Drawing Saturday 7:00 being said lets’ remember to greet our brothers and sisters with a warm welcome, Wing Night W/ Limited Menu when they come to the lodge. We are looking forward to a very active and profitShow Me The Money Card Game able winter at the lodge. With everyone’s help we should accomplish this over the winter months. Remember, the importance of maintaining a high standard of Every Tuesday & Saturday good conduct in the Social Quarters cannot be overemphasized. Many members 1:00—3:00 PM consider the Moose Home to be their second home, and the standard of conduct Thursday 5:00—6:00 pm maintained therein should always be a credit to the fraternity. As members we Queen of Hearts every Thursday should be particularly diligent about prohibiting loud and profane language. 7:00 PM I would like to thank everyone involved in the brut and beer fest in October for Texas Hold’em w/Arvin every making that event very successful. I believe everyone that came had a good time. Along with that night we honored Penny for 17 years of volunteering at the Tuesday 6:30 PM lodge. Thanks Penny for helping the lodge out over the past years. Volunteering at the lodge by our members is what makes it a successful place to visit. Thanks to the Women of the Moose for the Halloween decorations in the social quarters and having the Halloween party. Again everyone had a good time. I would like to remind our members to read the activities board for upcoming events. They are always posted on the board for you convenience. I have noticed that on occasions, people leave their cars in the parking lot over night. That’s fine, but we would like to have them picked up by the next day, before we open up. I like to see everyone that comes to the lodge be welcome and have a good time. We have a lot of good members that feel the same. So, lets’ come out and enjoy ourselves and remember as members we pledge to support Mooseheart and Moosehaven by giving to the endowment fund, bringing our community closer and celebrating life with our Brothers and Sisters. See every one at the lodge Your Governor, Elmo Lodge Officers **************************************************************** Tice & the Shores 1297 Governor Jr. Governor Treasure Prelate 1 Yr.
