Living Waters Church - Weekly News Issue: 100 29th March 2015 A Word from our Pastor: “Make your life count!” 2 Corinthians 5:10-11 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.” On that Day, when you stand before Christ the one who hurt you will not be there, nor will the one who rejected you, nor will the one who mistreated and used you, nor even the one who said “you could not do all the things that God said you could do, or become all that God said you would become” it will just be you and Him, the One who is the Lover of your soul, your King and Redeemer, but also the Righteous Judge. He has given us one life, one opportunity and no one else on this planet can maximise this life that we have been given, but us. In the same way no one can spend the time that has been credited into our account, but us. We have sole responsibility for both our life and our time. Therefore I pray that God by His Spirit will enable you to “let go and let God” and at the same time empower you to maximise your life and spend your time with great wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Not living in the fear of death and destruction but in the certain hope of restoration and resurrection! We have one life and one opportunity; we’ve got to make it count. Be blessed!
