OPPORTUNITIES OF WORSHIP Sunday, October 26, 2014 Friend Day 9:00 AM

OPPORTUNITIES OF WORSHIP
9
and
On Wed., Oct. 29 from 6:00-7:30 our
church will have a Trunk and Treat
instead of our traditional Fall Festival.
We invite our church members to have
lots of fun dressing up and decorating
their trunks for our own kids and others
from our community. We will also have
a bounce house, slide, popcorn, snow
cones, and Buttons the Clown. A hot dog
supper will be provided. There are 3
ways you can participate:
1. Host a trunk.
2. Donate candy.
3. Sign up to help with an activity.
This is a great opportunity to reach out
to children and their families and have
a great time! Call the church office (706376-3151) or email Jennifer
([email protected]) for details.
FBC e-mail Prayer Chain
When there is news affecting our
church family, e-mails are sent to
members of our prayer chain. If you
would like for us to add you to this
ministry, please send an e-mail to
[email protected]. Many prayer
requests are shared in this way.
Shoe boxes and brochures are in
the church office, the Fellowship Hall,
or the vestibule that include instructions on packing your boxes. NOTE:
DO NOT INCLUDE used or damaged
items; war-related items such as toy
guns, knives or military figures; chocolate or food (NO tootsie rolls or dumdums; tootsie pops are OK); liquids or
lotions (so NO shampoo, conditioner,
hand sanitizer, or bubbles); medications or vitamins; breakable items such
as snowglobes, mirrors or glass containers; aerosol cans.
Observations/guidelines:
1. Do not overfill - boxes are too hard
to fit in cartons.
2. Put one large rubberband around
box - no ribbons.
3. If you wrap box, wrap top & bottom
separately.
4. Attach one label only - EITHER boy
OR girl, with correct age box marked.
Signup for church basketball in your
Sunday School classroom or in the
church office by October 26th.
