The CDC purports that a ”Bulls-eye” EM Rash is the prime
indicator of Lyme disease. However, in a recent study of over 6000
Lyme patients, only 17% had a bulls-eye rash, while 21% showed
other rashes. The rash can be very small or very large, can
imitate hives, eczema, sunburn, poison ivy, fleabites, etc. It can
disappear and return later. It can itch or feel hot or not be felt at all.
On darker skin, it may look like a bruise.
