Philadelphia’s Immunization Program will provide an overview of
vaccines and answer YOUR questions!
You will learn:
 Why are refugee and immigrant communities at risk for vaccinepreventable diseases?
 What diseases do vaccines prevent? Are vaccines safe?
 What vaccines do children and adults need?
 What resources are available in Philadelphia to help refugees and
immigrants receive recommended vaccines?
NOTE: Individuals who participate
in at least four monthly “Public Health 101” sessions
will be eligible to receive a Public Health Outreach Kit.
