MAPPA 2015 will be hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
September 19-23, 2015
The MAPPA 2015 Educational Conference once again will present a diverse set of presentations
in the core areas of Facilities Management. We are also looking to add experiential learning to
our traditional course offerings. We therefore invite you to submit a program proposal to
present solutions for improvement, best practices or innovative approaches. Proposals are
being accepted for 60-minute concurrent sessions. We welcome presentations from business
partners who collaborate with facilities administrators.
The conference audience includes facility officers and physical plant staff and administrators
from the MAPPA region, along with business partners from nearly every facilities management
field. Educational sessions should include 45 minutes of content with 10 to 15 minutes for
Q&A. Presentations should be developed for groups of 25 - 75 people.
The Big Ten and Friends Building Services Administrators Conference and the Big Ten and
Friends Trainers Network will again convene with MAPPA 2015. Also offered are the highly
acclaimed APPA Supervisor’s Toolkit and the APPA Facilities Professional Prep Course, which
increases the networking exposure for all conference attendees.

areas of Facilities Management for the educational community—colleges & universities,
community colleges, and K-12. These core areas include General Administration, Maintenance
& Operations, Energy & Utilities, and Planning, Design & Construction.
Topic areas we are looking to address include the following, and where appropriate should
