District Culver’s Night: You can
never get too much of Culver’s!
Over the years Culver’s has been
good to their community,
including Boy Scouts. On
Wednesday, June 3rd, 2015 there
will be a fundraiser night on
behalf of the Maramech Hill
District. Come out and show your
support and join in fellowship
with our district. This is a great
way for the whole family to kick
off summer!

Webelos Camp!
On May 7, 50 new spaces became available for Webelos to make great summertime memories at
Camp Freeland Leslie in Oxford, Wisconsin. A limited number of spaces are now available for:


Session 1 – Saturday, June 6 – Tuesday, June 9
Session 2 – Tuesday, June 9 – Friday, June 12
This is the opportunity for your Scouts to enjoy 500 acres of the great outdoors. For four days
and three nights, your Scouts can:



Begin the new Cub Scout adventure advancement program (note: Webelos II may choose
to follow the old advancement program)
Play in the camp’s new Ga Ga Pit
Enjoy row boating and swimming on crystal clear Lake Emerick.
The cost of a Webelos to attend camp (includes a camp t-shirt) is $190.
The cost for an adult to attend camp is $120.

BARTLETT LITTLE LEAGUE – CHALLENGER & SENIOR CHALLENGER

The largest Challenger’s Baseball League in the Midwest
10 teams: 7 Junior Teams ages 4 – 18 and 3 New
SP Senior Teams ages 18 and up with 12
to 15 players per team
 Each team player is paired with a buddy. The buddy shadows the player by helping with
helmets and bats, running bases and fielding.
SATURDAY, MAY 30TH AT KOHLER FIELD on route 25/just south of West Bartlett Rd.
BLL CHALLENGERS VS. NWSRA (NORTHWEST SPECIAL RECREATION ASSOCIATION)
TWO TIME PERIODS: 5 GAMES AT 3:00 PM and 5 GAMES AT 5:00 PM






Need approximately 60 – 70 Scouts per time period and 2 adult leaders per unit.
Scouts can sign up to play both time periods/each game is 2 innings and lasts approx.
1.5 hrs. ( 5-6 services hrs. total if budding for both games ).
Scouts must arrive 30 minutes prior to the game.
Scouts should wear their Troop t-shirt, a baseball hat and bring their own baseball glove.
All players and buddies receive a free hot dog, chips and drink after each game.
Additionally, May 30th is also the Ice Cream Social which means free ice cream for all
players and buddies!
Scouts will benefit from participating in this event by meeting several requirements
for the Disabilities Awareness Merit Badge and earning community service hours.
Three Fires Council participating districts will be benefit as this event is an excellent
requirement opportunity for families with special needs children as well as their siblings.
Local press will be on hand for pictures and promotion.
Each unit’s commitment is needed no later than May 1st. Contact Larry Wegner, Special Needs
