Daryl Meijer AM Baptism David Voskamp OFFERINGS Today – WM-Bokma/Budget Next Week – Calvin Sem-Facing Your Future/Budget Received Mar 1/15 – Church Ministries $4,123.61 WR Disaster Response $1,134.50 We gratefully acknowledge your support of our church, our denomination and various ministries! How many “gods” do you put before God? “Idols” do not always take the shape of physical things, things we can touch and feel. Those are easy to recognize. Many times they take the form of things we cannot touch and are much harder to spot – pride, power, ego, comfort or health. NEXT WEEK’S COLLECTION – Calvin Seminary, Facing Your Future The Facing Your Future program is designed to assist in the process of students seeking to discern their place within the church. The program will stretch and challenge students to reflect theologically on many different modern issues concerning world affairs, the church and the individual Christian. They will engage in group discussions, films, excursion experiences and worship. They will be challenged to think about how God is calling them to serve Him as they transition into the next phase of their life and into the future. Your prayerful and generous support will be appreciated.
