General Chair
The 12th International Conference on Ubiquitous Robots and Ambient Intelligence (URAI
2015) will be held in KINTEX, Goyang city, Korea from October 28 to 30, 2015 along with
RoboWorld fair hosted by Korean government (Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy). The
conference is organized by Korea Robotics Society (KROS).
The aim of this conference is to bring together academics, researchers, engineers and
students worldwide to discuss the state-of-the-art technology and to present recent works
related to the various aspects of all kinds of robots.
Goyang City is one of the 21st century’s representative cities in Korea that is based on
time-honored history and tradition. Goyang city is the best city with optimum city-infra
through regional economic vitalization, environmental friendly residential area, convenient
transportation system.
Goyang city is famous with international Flower Foundation, and becoming the center of
international trade through multi complex of culture and trade – International General Exhibition.
Goyang has many propitious sites surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers, including
Seosamneung and Seooreung royal tombs registered as UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage.

Submission of Papers
All papers must be written in English and submitted electronically via the online conference
submission system at http://www.kros.org/urai2015 in one of the following three submission
categories.
▪ Regular papers (3 to 6 pages)
▪ Work-in-progress papers (2 pages)
▪ Video papers (video file and 1 page extended abstract)
After the doubly blind review process, all the accepted papers will be published in the URAI
2015 proceedings which will be included in the IEEE Xplore and EI Compendex. If authors have
