June 2015 “Learn That You May Live” Chaplain’s Message As summer approaches and schools enter the season of finishing up and winding down, our schools will be focusing on the virtue of forgiveness. We believe that forgiveness is an important cornerstone of our faith, as Jesus himself taught us: “Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors” (Matthew 6:12). We believe we cannot truly be in the right relationship with God unless we are also in good relationships with our neighbours. Therefore, in our schools and in our communities, we will continue to promote positive relationships through honouring and modeling forgiveness in everything we do. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer vacation. God bless. Bon Voyage!
