Department Of Chemistry
Lecturer- Grade 12 (2 Positions) REF: INT/AC/01/03/15
Applicants are invited for the position of Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry. The
applicant must have a PhD Degree in Physical Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, and
Chemistry engineering or Chemical Technology. In addition, he/she must show
evidence of excellence in scholarship as demonstrated to include scientific publications,
supervision of postgraduate students and attraction of Research funds will have an
added advantage.
The successful candidate shall teach undergraduates and postgraduates and do
research in the areas of Physical and Industrial Chemistry.
Tutorial Fellow- Grade 11 (3 Positions) REF: INT/AC/02/03/15
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree with a bias in Physical
Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, and Chemistry engineering or Chemical Technology
from a recognized University. Applicants must have registered for a PhD or should be
ready to register and should have at least one publication from a reputable journal.
Applicants with teaching experience at institutions of higher learning will have an added
advantage.
Department of Zoology
Lecturer- (Microbiology) Grade 12 (1 Position) REF: INT/AC/03/03/15
Applicants must have a Bsc, Msc and a PhD Degree in the relevant field from a
recognized University. The candidate must show evidence of scholarship as
demonstrated by scientific publications in refereed journals. Supervision of postgraduate
students and attraction of research funds will be an added advantage.

Department Of Drama and Theatre Studies
Lecturer-Grade 12 (1 Position) REF: INT/AC/04/03/15
Applicants must have a PhD Degree in Music with a bias in Music Education and
Ethnomusicology from a recognized University. In addition, he/she must show evidence
of excellence in scholarship as demonstrated to include scientific publications,
supervision of postgraduate students and attraction of Research funds will have an
added advantage.

Applicants must have a PhD Degree in Theatre studies from a recognized University.
Candidates must show evidence of scholarship as demonstrated by scientific
publications in refereed journals. Supervision of postgraduate students and attraction of

Applicants must have a PhD Degree in Interior Design or Fine Art from a recognized
University. The candidate must show evidence of scholarship as demonstrated by

Lecturer- Grade 12 (1 Position) REF: INT/AC/07/03/15
Applicants must have a PhD in Mass Communication/Media or its equivalent from a
recognized University. The successful candidate will be expected to teach the following
courses: Publishing, Editing for Electronic Media, Multimedia, and Hypermedia, Digital
Photography, Graphic Communication, Advertising, Radio and Television Production,
New Information Technologies, Photojournalism, Writing Electronic Media, Media Law
and Ethics, Desktop Publishing, and Editing for Print Media.
Tutorial Fellow- Grade 11 (2 Positions) REF: INT/AC/08/03/15
Applicants must have a Masters Degree in Mass Communication/Media or its equivalent
from a recognized University. Applicants must have registered for a PhD or should be
ready to register. The successful candidate will be expected to teach publishing, radio
and television production, radio and television news, new information technology and
photojournalism.

Applicants must have a PhD Degree with at least three years of teaching at a University
in at least three of the following areas of specialization: Crime scene management; Law;
Theory and practice of penology; Forensic science and Criminal justice; Terrorism;
Labour welfare and Industrial relations; Procedure and evidence.

in refereed journals. Supervision of postgraduate students and attraction of research
funds will be an added advantage.
