Neighborhod Yoga
Teacher Training
1 weekend a month for 9 months (Sept 2015-May 2016)
Applications accepted through August 1st.
You do not have to be a teacher, nor even desire to become a teacher to attend
NYTT. This training is for anyone who wants to deepen their practice and
understanding of yoga on all levels.
Participants explore methods of cultivating their personal practice, and from
that space, experience the gift of sharing yoga with others. Through self-inquiry,
group discussion, and experiential learning, we uncover together the meaning of
traditional yoga texts, and how this timeless philosophy relates to daily living.
We will help you find your own authentic voice, and path on this journey. The
program is a nine month 240 hour Yoga Alliance Certified Program. Early
registration deadline for our next program is June 30, 2015. Partial scholarship
and work/trade are available.
Introduction to Acropeudics
6 week Workshop with Henry Orszula, Tuesdays
July 21-August 25, $60 for all six sessions, $14 drop-in
Come join Certified Acro
Revolution Teacher Henry
Orszula for a 6 week
introduction to Acropeudics. We
will be learning to use gravity to
heal, align , and bring us into a
more grounded version of
ourselves. The goal of
Acropeudics is to facilitate
healing within yourself and in
others. You can transform
people's lives with a single flight! Putting yourself upside-down
shifts their perspective on the
world, builds trust, facilitates
healing, and creates new
possibilities.
This 6 week introduction will
give participants all the basic
skills to give and receive
Acropeudics. Setting intention,
practicing metta-(loving
kindness), creating trust, and
feeling good are our goals. All
are welcome- no special skills or
partners are necessary! Each class will include partner
warm-ups, acropeudic
techniques, proper spotting for
beginners, finding your rhythm,
and having tons of fun. The
Class will last 1 1/2 hours,
followed by an additional 1/2
hour for questions, practice, or
just a little acro-jamming! For
