n1-rfbt quick start guide rev4

Congratulations on your choice of a MBQuart Bluetooth
controller. This “Quick Start” Installation guide is meant to
help you complete a basic installation. For more detailed
information, visit our website at MBQuart.com
Surface Mounting
The controller can be mounted on any flat surface using the surface
mount cradle. This will allow the controller to be removed for use in
hand as well as kept in the cradle when not in use.
Wiring
The wiring and connections should be secure and away from any
moving parts or extremely hot surfaces.
The RCA pre amp output can be connected directly to an amplifier.
Before drilling any holes make sure there are no obstructions behind
the mounting surface. Also make sure there is enough space around
the cradle to remove and replace the controller easily.
CAUTION
The RCA aux input can be used to connect a secondary source.
The remote input wire should be connected to a switched +12V
source.
Always consider consulting a professional audio installer
before installing any audio components. Be careful and take
your time. Do not let wires make contact with metal edges or
hot engine components.
The remote output wire provides a +12V output to turn on an
amplifier.
Flush Mounting
This method will allow the controller to sit flush to the mounting
surface. This requires a perfectly flat surface and ideally should have
access to the rear of the mounting panel.
Before drilling the mounting hole, make sure there are no
obstructions behind the mounting area.
