Subject:
To frame policy for disposal of 112 built up booths and 02 Halls in Vikas
Nagar, Mauli Jagran, U.T., Chandigarh.
The Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh has constructed 112 booths and 02 Halls in Vikas
Nagar, Mauli Jagran, U.T. Chandigarh. For disposal of the said property a committee of officers has been
constituted vide office order dated 22.08.2013 and meeting was held on 28.11.2013 of constituted
committee under the Chairmanship of the Joint Commissioner, MCC regarding framing of policies for
disposal of builtup booths constructed by Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh. In the said meeting it has
been decided that the builtup booths at Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran may be disposed of through open
auction on lease hold basis for 99 years in phase manners as per terms and conditions of the Chandigarh
Estate rules, 2007 as amended from time to time. In the first phase booths located at back side may be
auctioned. These booths may be auctioned for General Trade only. The S.E (B&R) MCC will work out the
reserve price for booths on the basis of location of the site/market trend, trade of the commercial site,
zoning regulation, development cost etc. and will also categorize these booths.
It has been confirmed
from E.E.(Rods-II) that the two Hall constructed i.e. one is meant for Post Office and second is meant for
Bank.

The proposal of the committee is placed at Annexure “A”.
The Engineering Wing, MCC has calculated net cost per booth which is placed at
Annexure-“B”.
The matter is placed before the General House of the Corporation for consideration and
decision in the matter and to delegate the powers to fix reserve price to the Finance & contract Committee.

Subject:
Disposal of old obsolete/unserviceable material lying in P.H. store, Municipal
Corporation, Chandigarh.
An agenda item No.212.3 was placed before the House in 212th meeting held on
28.11.2014 regarding the above matter. The House had resolved as under:“The House considered & approved the Committee
constituted for this purpose and it was further decided that
committee will submit its findings before the House for
approval.”
Accordingly, a committee held meeting on 05.03.2015 in Public Health Store Indl. Area
Phase-I, Chandigarh. The minutes of the meeting are placed at Annexure-A. The matter is placed
before House for information and approval of agenda item No.3 placed in the 212th meeting of the House.

Subject:
RCE for development of green belt in Sector – 38 (W) by P & F of railing on
toe wall, huts, PCC benches, children play equipment and landscaping work
and C.C. flat path in green belt in Sector – 38 (W)Chandigarh.
Amount : Rs. 66.61 lac
The necessity for framing of rough cost estimate for development of Green Belt
in Sector 38 (W) occurred as the site was inspected by the undersigned alongwith Sub
Divisional Engineer concerned and found that there is an urgent requirement for
development of the same.
During the visit of Sector – 38 (W) (newly constructed houses)
by worthy
Adviser to the Administrator U.T. instructed for development of Green Belt in Sector 38 (W),
Chandigarh.
The area councillor and also the local residents of the area demanded for
development of said green belt for beautification and enjoyment of the children.
Accordingly an estimate with a cost of Rs. 66.61 lac for development of
Green belt
in
Sector – 38 (W) with a provision of P&F of railing on Toe Wall, huts, PCC benches, children
play equipments and landscaping has been framed with following scope of work:

Subject:
Providing and fixing PCC tiles on road berm in EWS Colony in Sector 38 West, Chandigarh.
(Amount Rs. 86.08 lacs)
The rough cost estimate for the work of providing and fixing PCC tiles on road berm in EWS
Colony in Sector 38-West, Chandigarh has been framed to facilitate the area residents for freely moving
on foot path. These roads were recently handed over to Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh vide
HB/SE/2014/2010 dated 26.8.2014. The conditions of road berms are in very bad conditions. Sewer
Water/Rain Water often accumulate on the berms. To spruce up the area this rough cost estimate for
providing and fixing PCC tiles in cement mortar has been prepared as there are chances of theft of P.C.C.
tiles. The undersigned along with S.D.E. inspected the site and found that work is feasible.
Accordingly, the Rough Cost Estimate amounting to Rs.86.08 lacs has been prepared and
submitted for arranging administrative approval and allotment of funds from the competent authority of
M.C., Chandigarh under appropriate head of account. It is certified that the scope of work taken in the
estimate has not been earlier included in any other estimate.
The following scope of the work has been taken in the estimate.
1. Earth work in excavation
2. Carriage of earth
3. Providing and fixing PCC kerbs
4. P/L C.C. 1:8:16
5. P/F PCC tiles
It is certified that scope of work taken in this estimate has not earlier included in any of the
estimate.
The expenditure on this work will be charged under the Head “Improvement of Road
Parking Places and Infrastructure Facility”. The budget estimate, budget allocation, amount of already
approved estimate and expenditure under this head for Roads Division No.3 is as under:i.
