Academy which is a point system to encourage students to take
responsibility of their work and to make better grades. The students

Mrs. Christine Cronin was the first to purchase the 2015-2016 Trash
Sticker. She is happy to continue the tradition that was started by her late
husband Mr. Joe Cronin. When Trash Stickers were first introduced to San
Jacinto County Mr. Cronin took pride in being the first to purchase his
Sticker. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, this year’s Stickers are PINK.
2015-2016 Trash Stickers: On March 6th, San Jacinto County will be
selling permits from ANY County Commissioner’s Office
1st Sticker: $100.00, 2nd Sticker: $10.00 – (only one 2nd sticker allowed)
65 and over $75.00, Handicap License Plate or Placard: $75.00
When purchasing your sticker please have the following information with you:
Proof of Residence - Valid Driver's License with correct address or a
Utility Bill showing current address.
License Plate Number of Vehicle where sticker will be placed. Your
sticker must be attached to the window of your assigned vehicle.

One of our members is Pro Star Waste, based in Goodrich but serving a
large area from Conroe to Livingston and beyond. Sonny Hubbard is the
Operations Manager. He told me recently how much his whole company

A few weeks ago I wrote about the 6th Annual Hug-A-Tree/Kiss-A-Fish
Youth 3 Day Adventure on May 15-17th. This is a free event for struggling
families with a free 2 day camp-out and a 3 day Youth & Adult Fishing
Tournament, This is free to Youth, adults are asked to pay a $5 donation.
Organized by Brenda Myers of the Community & Children's Impact Center,
this event has so many planned events, I can't list them all here! There will
be FREE meals all 3 days, yes that's breakfast, lunch and dinner! On May
16 there will be vendors, entertainment and educational booths. There
will be a tribute from present Military to the Veteran Heroes of the Past.
This is a wonderful opportunity for families who are struggling, to take
their children for a weekend in the country. Where will it be held? At
'The Retreat at Artesian Lakes', 235 Chain of Lakes, Cleveland. To sign up

Are you interested in what your dreams mean? Did you know they
have a meaning often hidden by symbols from our subconscious
mind? 'Spirit Whispers' in Shepherd is offering a dream interpretation
workshop on March 30 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. You are asked to

this class will be limited to 6 people at a time. This will enable each
dreamer time to discuss their dream and for the facilitator to help them
interpret its meaning. 'Spirit Whispers' is at 11231 Hwy 150, suite
5, Shepherd. This is just across the road from the Agri-Tex building.
Each dreamer is asked to bring with them a dream they have had, written
down, and be ready to share it with the rest of the group. Each person will
be given a workbook with explanations of the different kinds of dreams
we have, the symbolism present in dreams and why these are important
to our understanding of ourselves and our present day lives. Cost is $20
and the facilitator is Yvonne Ryba. (Yes, that's me) I have been doing a
monthly interview on dream interpretation for a web site for about 2 years
and working with dreams for 40 years.

Dana Frances Davis, age 88 of Shepherd, Texas passed away Saturday,
March 14, 2015. She was born October 21, 1926 in Houston, Texas to parents
Author Lee Davis and Annie Laura Griffen Davison. She was preceded in
death by her husband Lyle Marshall Davis and son Don Marshall Davis.
Survivors include daughter Gale Lynn Tyler, sons Michael Lee Davis and
wife Susan of Shepherd, Texas and Richard Lyle Davis and wife Victoria
of Romayor, Texas. Daughter-in-law LuElla Phillips Davis of Tarkington
Prairie, Texas, grandchildren Holly Lynn Davis Gill and husband Jason of
Cleveland, Texas, Clint Marshall Davis of Cleveland, Texas, Robin Eileen
Davis Nichols and husband John of Cleveland, Texas, Jeremy Michael
Davis and wife Luissana of Shepherd, Texas, Heath Eugene Tyler and
wife Amy of Climax, Michigan, Eric Lloyd Tyler and wife Christie of
Porter, Texas, Annie Lynn Tyler Shiflet and husband Glynn of Splendora,
Texas, Felica Ann Tyler Hooper and husband Ricky of Splendora, Texas
and Richard Michael Davis of Arlington, Texas. Great grandchildren,
Eli Skeet Gill, Wyatt Marshall Gill, Sabrina Nichols, Samantha Nichols,
Sarah Nichols, Brandon Davis, Sofia Davis, Summer Tyler, Daisy Tyler,
Paige Tyler, Heatherly Tyler, Rebecca Tullos, Allison Tullos, Lari Tyler,
James Shiflet, Marshall Shiflet, Zachery Shiflet, Deven Wallace, Alysia
Hooper along with many other loving family members and treasured
friends throughout the years.
Brother Preston Baker and Brother Clyde Sommers presided over
services held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Pace Stancil
Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Visitation was held from 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m.,
Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas.
