About Ontario Early Years (OEYC)
Milton Community Resource Centre is the Ontario Early Years Centre
for North Halton!
Ontario Early Years Centres are places where parents and caregivers can:
 Take part with their children in a range of programs and activities
 Get answers to questions
 Get information about programs and services that are available for young
children
 Talk to early years professionals, as well as other parents and caregivers in
the community
How to Register for MCRC OEYC Lottery Programs
Ontario Early Years Programs have no fee for service!
There are no MCRC OEYC Lottery Programs running through July and August. MCRC OEYC Lottery Programs will
return for Session #1 (September—October). MCRC OEYC Lottery Programs include: Mother Goose, Cruisin & Groovin,
Toddler Jumpin & Jammin, Preschool Jumpin & Jammin. Please see below Session #1 registration details.

Summer Playtime in the Park Drop-In

On-going
How to Register: No Registration Required
Join us in the park each week for fun outdoor activities; including bubbles, parachute games, water play and block
play. Each week is facilitated by an Early Childhood Educator and a Parent Educator. Resources will be available and
there will be visits from community members including Public Health Nurses and Halton Multicultural Council
Settlement workers. All ages are welcome!

FRP Cancellation Policy
Registration can be cancelled no later than two weeks prior to the program start date. A $25.00 administration fee is
applied to all cancellations.

This program will help develop your child’s listening skills and sense of rhythm and beat through repetition. Lead by
a qualified staff this program introduces age appropriate experiences through playful musical activities, movement,
games, songs, rhymes and dancing while stimulating interactions between child and parent/caregiver.

Infants learn through exploring with all their senses. Lead by a qualified staff this program provides the best
developmentally and age appropriate activities based on an understanding of how babies learn best at this age. Your
baby needs space, time and freedom to explore new experiences that will capture their interests and promote
further development. A special memento of your baby’s first time finger painting will be documented for you to take
home.

Engage with your toddler through explorative, creative and sensory based activities to stimulate their senses. Each
week offers a variety of activities lead by a qualified staff taking into consideration that toddlers learn best in
play-based environments. Your toddler will enjoy being with other children, observing and developing
social relationships in a fun environment. Come and enjoy your special time together in this exceptional

A fun filled session of music and energetic movement lead by a qualified staff with a ratio of one staff for every six

How to Register: Online
Come with your child to this nature-based program that explores the outdoors. This class is held outdoors and is
filled with story telling, tracking local wildlife, and discovering the coolest things in nature. We sing, tell stories, learn
naturalist skills and so much more. Let’s get our children back out into nature and reconnected. This program is led
by a certified Hike Leader with a diploma in Recreation and Leisure and Wildlife and Forestry Conservation.
Participants will meet at Rotary Park Pavilion. Rain or Shine!

engaged in art based creative expression activities and to be on their own in preparation for starting school.
