Thank you for your generous donation to the 2015 COPS RIDE! Because of your
support, the event again raised over $70,000.00 for the Maryland Chapter of Concerns of Police
Survivors (COPS). This year’s ride will be on Sunday, June 14, 2015. There will be registration
locations all across Maryland with the Rally Point returning to the Fraternal Order of Police,
Lodge #89 at 2905 Old Largo Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.
Once again, we are trying to secure the sponsorship/donation portion of the event by
April 30th, 2015. Please help us to make this the biggest COPS RIDE yet. Sponsorship levels are
as follows:
$500 – Bronze Sponsorship
$1500 – Silver Sponsorship
$2500 – Gold Sponsorship
$5000 – Founding (Platinum) Sponsorship
Sponsorship includes media coverage and an advertisement on the official ride shirt.
Donations will also be gratefully accepted for the auction and prize portions of the event. In
addition, official recognition will be given on the day of the ride by the level of sponsorship.
Anyone donating by check or with items will receive acknowledgement from the Maryland
Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors to include a special listing on their official website
www.mdcops.org.
The Maryland Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors, which is a 501 (c) 3 Federal IRS
recognized tax deduction, has many programs and services for survivors including survivor
seminars, scholarships, peer support, counseling programs, trial and parole support, death benefit
information and other assistance programs. Since the first COPS RIDE started in 2000, fiftyeight Maryland Law Enforcement Officers have given their lives in the “Line of Duty”. The
money we raise with this year’s COPS RIDE is more important than ever to the families of our
Fallen Heroes.
