It is recommended that award be made to the low bidder, Federal Contractors, Inc., @ $1,7*0.00." ON MOTION duly made and seconded, the Board adopted the above recommendation and awarded the contract to the low bidder, The- loveat bid on this item was that of Maurice Leeser, 0 $19.75 par page. The Company made an error in computing their bid in that they did not figure on increased quantities for certain issues, as outlined in the specifications, They state that this would result in an unreasonable loss to their company and they have, therefore, submitted the attached letter in which they indicate their decision to forfeit their certified check, in the amount of $100,00. This arrangement la satisfactory to the Department of Federal Contractors, Inc., at $1,740.00.
