Summer Swim Lessons
3-12 year olds. Five different levels from learn-to-swim through learning all four competitive swim strokes.
(Do not ask if your 2 ¾ year old can participate. Students MUST BE 3 at the beginning of class and even then,
we will evaluate and may determine your child is not ready to participate in group swim lessons.)
NO REFUNDS OR MAKEUPS FOR MISSED CLASSES.
Session one: June 15-26
Session two: July 6-17
Session three: July 20-July 31
Session four: August 3-14
Choose either:

Times: 9:00-9:30 Levels One-Three only,
9:35-10:05 Levels One-Three only,
10:10-10:40 Levels One – Five
Levels: Level One – Ranges from first experience in the water to learning the backstroke and
freestyle kicks.
Level Two – Continue with water safety training. Begin teaching the backstroke and diving
into the water.
Level Three – Continue with water safety training. Begin teaching the freestyle and diving
into the water from a kneeling position.
Level Four – Continue with water safety training. Begin teaching the breaststroke and diving
from a standing position.
Level Five Begin teaching the butterfly and diving from the blocks.
Equipment: Goggles, swim cap
Cost for 2 week session:
MRA member
3 days a week: $40.00 4 days a week: $45.00 5 days a week: $50.00
Nonmembers
3 days a week: $60.00 4 days a week: $70.00 5 days a week: $90.00

Private and semi-private swim lessons are available.
MRA members: $20.00 per ½ hour for one child and $30.00 per ½ hour for two.
Nonmembers: $35.00 per ½ hour for one child and $45.00 per ½ hour for two.
How Do I Sign Up: Fill out the second page and return, along with a check made payable to “MRA”, to the front gate
attendant. You can also mail in the registration form to P.O.Box 222 Mechanicsville, VA 23111. You will receive a confirmation
email when you are registered in the class.
