Michael Edward Guerin

Michael Edward Guerin, big dreamer out of the San
Fernando Valley, his plans for an excellent life were
squashed by a debilitating disease. A brand new professor
at Boise State, a novelist, cartoonist, father; one day in
the late Eighties he fell while running and never really got
up. He endured decades of decline before nature restored
some order and let him go. His life was lived in extremis,
a lofty achiever and long distance sufferer. Still, he made
his caregivers laugh at his cartoon voices and constant
mischievousness. He was loved until the last breath by his
sisters, Kate Mackie Ashton and Theresa Richards, and his
brothers, Terry and Rich Guerin. He is survived by children,
Brendan, Jennifer, Adam and Patrick Guerin, and grandchildren, Rouen, Jack and Sasha Guerin. Rest in peace, dearest
brother Michael.
