Rules for lucky draw "Win €100 to go shopping"
Article I: Organization
Best Western France/Mapotel SA Coopérative, a cooperative public limited company with variable
capital, registered on the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 319 641 551, and
having its registered office at Immeuble Le Doublon Bat B, 11 avenue Dubonnet, 92407
COURBEVOIE CEDEX, is holding a lucky draw entitled "Win €100 to go shopping", from 1 June
2015 to 30 September 2015 at midnight.
Article II: Participation
This competition with obligation to buy is open to all adults resident in North America
(with the exception of employees and representatives of the company holding the competition,
its partners and subcontractors, their advisors or members of their family). Entry shall be
limited to one person per household (same surname, same address). Entry to the competition shall be
on a strictly personal basis and participants may not under any circumstances enter on behalf of other
participants. All incomplete or illegible forms, or those submitted after the deadline or in any other
form than that specified shall be considered as null and void.
Article III: Terms and conditions
To enter the competition, participants must:
 book a stay at a Best Western® hotel in France under the following conditions:
o Booking period: 1 June to 15 June 2015
o Visit period: 1 July to 30 September 2015;
o Duration of visit: at least one night;
o Number of visits: at least one;
o Location of stay: Paris (France);
 belong to the Best Western Rewards® loyalty program at the time of booking and give their
Best Western Rewards number on booking;
 book via centralized BW channels (websites, call center, mobile apps); the booking may not
be canceled, transferred or refunded;
 be a resident of North America.
A total of five winning entries will be selected after the end of the reservation period, from a random
draw of all eligible entries.
Article IV: Prize
The prize shall comprise five Galeries Lafayette gift vouchers worth €100 each (total value €500). To
be entered into the lucky draw, participants must fulfill the terms and conditions set out in article II.
Each winner will receive a Galeries Lafayette gift voucher worth €100. This prize will be given to the
winner directly at the time of their stay. If a reply in writing is not received from the winner within 48
hours of confirmation of their win, Best Western France reserves the right to select another winner. No
message will be sent regarding entries that do not win.
Article V: Selection of winning entries
A draw from all entries fulfilling the terms and conditions set out in article II will be carried out by
Mr. Bru, judicial officer, or his associate, during the week following closure of the competition, to
select the five winning entries. The winners will be informed by Best Western France/Mapotel
SA Coopérative or by the partner office Best Western International, by post, email or telephone.
If the winners do not reply within 48 hours of confirmation of their win, they shall be disqualified and
their prizes shall be forfeit under the terms of article X. A new draw shall be carried out in that event
by the judicial officer. The prizes may not be paid in cash or any other consideration of any kind, and
shall be non-transferable. However, in the event of force majeure, Best Western France/Mapotel SA
Coopérative reserves the right to replace the published prizes with alternatives of equivalent value.
Participants shall guarantee that the rewards program account number entered on the competition entry
form is correct and belongs to them. The winners shall authorize the conducting of checks concerning
their identity and domicile (postal and/or web address). Any incorrect information relating to identity
or account numbers shall render winning entries null and void.

Article VI: Legal deposit
These competition rules are filed via www.reglement.net, with SCP Bornecque Winandy - Bru Nifosi,
associate judicial officers, 15, Passage du Marquis de la Londe - 78000 – Versailles. The competition
rules may be modified at any time by means of an addendum by the organizer of the competition,
under the terms and conditions defined. The addendum shall be registered with the firm of associate
judicial officers with which the rules were filed, before publication. It shall come into force with effect
from its registration and all participants shall be deemed to have accepted it by virtue of their entering
the competition, as from the effective date of the change. Any participant who does not accept the
changes must withdraw from the competition. The competition rules will be sent free of charge to any
person requesting them in writing by post, before the closing date of the competition, from the
following address: Immeuble Le Doublon Bat B, 11 avenue Dubonnet, 92407 COURBEVOIE
CEDEX. Any postage costs incurred in obtaining a copy of the rules shall be refunded on request at
the current rate for second-class post. The full competition rules may also be found on the offer page.
Article VII: Lawsuits and liabilities
Entry into this lucky draw shall be considered as unreserved acceptance of the competition rules in
their entirety. Should any of the provisions in these competition rules be declared null and void or
inapplicable, all other articles shall remain effective and enforceable. In the event of a difference
between the version of the rules filed with the judicial officer and the version available online, the
version filed with the judicial officer shall prevail. Any inaccurate or misleading declaration or any
fraud shall lead to the disqualification of the entrant in question. Best Western France/Mapotel SA
Coopérative shall have final say over the settlement of any dispute relating to the competition
in agreement with SCP Level - Bornecque Winandy - Bru Nifosi, associate judicial officers. No
written or telephone inquiry shall be entertained concerning the interpretation or application of these
rules, or the mechanisms or terms and conditions of the competition, or the list of winners. In the event
of any dispute, only a letter sent by registered post with notification of receipt within one month of the
publication of results shall be admissible. Best Western France/Mapotel SA Coopérative reserves the
right, if circumstances dictate, to reduce or extend the duration of this competition, or to modify or
cancel it, in accordance with article VI. It shall not be held liable as a result of any such action. Best
Western France/Mapotel SA Coopérative reserves the right to cancel or suspend all or part of the
competition on suspicion of fraud of any kind whatsoever in connection with entry in the competition.
It reserves the right, in that event, to withhold the prize from the person committing the fraud and/or to
bring a legal action before the competent courts against the person or persons committing the fraud.
Article VIII: Delivery of prizes
By accepting their prizes, the winners authorize Best Western France/Mapotel SA Coopérative to use
their full names and mailing addresses in any advertising or promotional activities related to this
competition, for a maximum period of two years; such use shall not give rise to any compensation
other than the prize itself. The winners may not claim any compensation from the organizing company
for damages that may result from the acceptance and/or use of the prize.
Article IX: Devolution of powers
Entrants to the competition shall be subject to French regulations applicable to games and
competitions. Any lawsuit that cannot be settled amicably shall be subject to the competent courts
appointed in accordance with the French Code of Civil Procedure.
Article X: Data protection
The personal information collected in connection with this competition shall be processed in
accordance with the Data Protection Act no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978. Pursuant to article 27 of this
law, all participants in the competition, or their legal representatives if they are minors, shall have the
right of access to or rectification of the data concerning them. Any request for access, rectification or
appeal must be sent to Best Western France/Mapotel SA Coopérative.

Article XI: Literary and artistic property rights
In accordance with the laws governing literary and artistic property rights, the reproduction and
representation of any or all of the elements making up this competition are strictly forbidden. The
trademarks mentioned are registered trademarks of their respective owners.
