2015-­‐2016 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION INFORMATION Applicants for continuing student scholarships must be sophomores, juniors or seniors in the academic year 2015-­‐2016. Seniors graduating in December 2015 are also eligible. Application materials are due by 4:30 PM on Monday, March 16, 2015 in the School of Media Arts & Studies office, Schoonover 319. 1.
Print out and complete the application pages that follow this instruction sheet. 2.
Each scholarship has specific requirements that are on the scholarship checklist. Make sure you meet the eligibility requirements and check the scholarship(s) for which you want to be considered. Note that some awards may require recommendations letters, demo discs, or have other additional requirements. Those items must be submitted with your completed application. 3.
Attach a current resume. 4.
Include a brief statement (up to 250 words) describing your academic and career (and/or internship) goals. THE FINE PRINT •

Students must fill out the general Ohio University scholarship application online to be eligible for an MDIA scholarship by the application deadline (March 16). This form is available at http://www.ohiou.edu/financialaid. Click “Online Scholarship Application for Continuing Students”—the top link under the “Important Links” header. To be eligible for scholarships that have a financial need requirement, students must also have a current FAFSA on file at the Office of Student Financial Aid by the application deadline. To fill the out the FAFSA application go to: http://fafsa.ed.gov. College level scholarships (such as the Don Perris Endowed Internship Scholarship and the Scripps Multimedia Scholarship) are not listed here and must be applied for separately.
